About me

After retiring from the Rock County Sheriff’s Department in 2009, I wanted to do something I had always been interested in-real estate.

After getting my Wisconsin Real Estate License, and completing First Weber Academy Real Estate training, I began working as a full time Realtor working out the Janesville office.

Yes, 2009 was not a good year to get into real estate, but I really wanted to do it.  So far, I have been able to sell all my listings except one.  (Hey, I am honest).  I have also helped many buyers find the home that is just right for them.

Selling city, rural, and waterfront property during the tough times has not been easy.  I learned that each and every property is different.  Each needs to be promoted and marketed in a different way to bring in the qualified buyer, and at the best price.  Going ‘outside the box’ is what some properties need.  I use YouTube and Craiglist, too.

First Weber has "Front Runner". A Complete, Interactive Multi-Media Marketing Package Available Exclusively to First Weber Group throughout Wisconsin!  First Weber’s FRONT RUNNER provides more tools, more options, and more high tech methods of exposing properties to today’s sophisticated and tech-savvy home buyer.

Also, I am rather a photography nut.  I have learned how to take top-level photography for the homes I list.  Since over 88% of buyers shop on-line, and spend less than 1 second on an internet photo, that photo needs to be a GLAMOUR SHOT!  Also, once the buyer clicks on that photo, the rest of the photos must look like they came out of "Better Homes and Garden" to draw them in. I also use Photoshop Adobe to enhance the positive aspects of a property.

I like doing open houses, too.  I don't give up after awhile, either.

Also, I prefer to have only a small handful of listings at one time.  I find that I can give much more time to each listing, giving each the time and attention to detail it needs.  No cookie-cutter marketing! I feel the sellers deserve no less.

Call, text, or e-mail me if you have any questions, or just want to talk.  NO PRESSURE!
